Gina Giammanco opened her doors in 1986 ready to fill the needs in Monterey for quality tanning. Right from the beginning Gina loved her work. At that time, Sahara Sun consisted of only 5 tanning beds.
How things have changed since then! With a new location on Fremont Streeet in Monterey and and upgrades in our other locations, Sahara Sun now has 19 beds, one stand-up booth and three Mystic Tanning booths. Sahara Sun is the exclusive home of Mystic Tan, the new revolutionary Sunless Tanning solution. Sahara Sun has bright sunshine and a clean atmosphere. Our staff is friendly, energetic and knowledgeable.
